This jewel is Azure Willow- a dry face oil specifically formulated for those dealing with sensitivity, inflammation, acne, and oily/combination skin. 
 
Blue Tansy oil is to thank for its sapphire blue color and is prized worldwide for its ability to reduce redness, calm acne, and even skin tone. The key carrier oil in Azure Willow is camellia seed oil, which is high in vitamin a, known to help improve skin texture and signs of aging! I’ve infused it with willow bark, whose key ingredient salicin was discovered in the early 19th century and used to develop the drug aspirin! Still used internally to this day as a powerful pain reliever and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory, willow bark can also be used topically to treat skin inflammation and acne because of its ability to pull tissues together, reduce pain, and prevent infection. One study found that willow used topically may be of benefit for people with chronic acne. Researchers tested the difference in using a facial cleanser with willow to a placebo wash in 21 volunteers. The volunteers were given the two facial cleansers and were instructed to twice daily wash one side of their forehead with one of the cleansers and the other side of the forehead with the other cleanser. Scientists took bioengineering measurements on days 8, 15, and 17, finding that the botanical face cleanser significantly reduced the sebum level.
