Virginia Warnken Kelsey
herbalist, gardener, beekeeper
Deeply passionate about cultivating meaningful relationships with the natural world, Virginia has been handcrafting botanical remedies and skincare since 2009. She is the primary creatrix of Kelsey Island Herbals, and 95% of the plant material used in our goods has passed directly from the ground through her fingers.

When not living out her garden witch fantasies, Virginia is a multi Grammy Award-winning musician and music professor.
Ben Kelsey
gardener, beekeeper, kelp farmer, craftsman, and builder
In addition to overseeing the construction and cultivation of our cottage gardens, Ben also uses his numerous fabrication and handyman skills to support the development and upkeep of our workshop's equipment and facilities. Beekeeping is one of his profound joys, and partners with Virginia in all of the apiary responsibilities.

When not in the garden or apiary, Ben is an ocean farmer, specialist in wooden boat restoration, and archaeologist.
